134 Case of Vomit

1. Clear the children to a corner with a teacher.
2. Bring the child who vomited to the toilet.
3. Ask auntie to clean the vomit.

• auntie to put on gloves
• remove the vomit with disposable paper and put in plastic
• dispose of it outside school immediately
• mop the affected area with water
• mop the affected area with bleach
• leave the bleach for 2-3 minutes
• mop again with water
• spray disinfectant on affected area

4. Teacher to remove the child's clothes wearing gloves.
5. Shower the child.
6. Wash the soiled clothes.
7. Soak the clothes with detergent in the pail.
8. Take the child's temperature.
9. Inform child's parents.
