133 Case of Soiling of Uniform Outside the Toilet

1. Bring the child concerned immediately to the toilet.
2. Set chairs around the affected floor/area so that children will not come close to it.
3. Call another teacher to look over the class.
4. Call the aunty to help clean the affected floor/area.

• auntie to put on gloves
• remove the urine/faeces with disposable paper and put in plastic
• dispose of it outside school immediately
• mop the affected area with water
• mop the affected area with bleach
• leave the bleach for 2-3 minutes
• mop again with water
• spray disinfectant on affected area

5. Shower the child.
6. Wash the soiled clothes.
7. If child is going home soon, put wet clothes in separate disposable plastic bag and put in bag immediately.
8. If child is not going home soon, hand wet clothes to dry before putting it in bag.
9. Take the child's temperature.
10. Inform child's parents.
