How to password protect information in Blog

1. Type in all information that is to be posted.
2. Click the Edit HTML tab, select all (Ctrl+A)
3. Copy the highlighted html text (Ctrl+C)
4. Open another browser and proceed to http://www.vincentcheung.ca/jsencryption/
5. Under Key, type in the password that you want to set.
6. Under Plain Text, paste (Ctrl+V) the information that you copied earlier.
7. Click Encrypt.
8. Go under HTML Code, select all (Ctrl+A) and copy (Ctrl+C).
9. Go back to text box of blog and paste (Ctrl+V) under the HTML tab.
10. Click Publish Post when final.

*If you do not want the Post to show “Show encrypted text”, you may change it by going to Edit HTML tab, find the text “show encrypted text” at the bottom of the code and change it accordingly. You may substitute with anything you like e.g. “click to show learning updates”.

~If the information that you want to password protect includes PDF documents, upload the PDF documents at Scribd first (click here on how to do it), copy and paste the embed HTML into the Edit HTML tab in the text box where you want to post the document and carry on with steps 2 to 10.
