210 Prior Preparations

Field and Neighbourhood Trips:

Field Trips are conducted at least once in a school term to venues farther than Sembawang town, like Underwater World at Sentosa.

Neighbourhood Trips are conducted more frequently in a school term to venues within Sembawang, Yishun and Woodlands towns.

Administrative things to be done before leaving premises includes:

1. Collecting of Consent Forms (Note: Children without Consent Forms are NOT ALLOWED to follow with the excursion).
2. Teachers to collect payments for excursions.
3. Record the collection of Consent Forms and payments in the Communication Book.
4. Note the total number of children (plus their names).

Other Prior Preparations:

1. Ask parents to bring extra uniform at least 2 days before the excursion date.
2. Sew onto the extra uniform, the children's nametags (to be prepared if child's name not available), at the back collar.
3. Inform parents to put on that uniform on the day of the excursion.
4. Alternatively, seek permission from the parents to keep the uniforms in school and only change them in school on the excursion day.
