120 Arrival & Departure of Children

Arrival:

1. Take temperature of child (refer to Temperature Taking).
2. Check child’s hands, feet, legs, mouth, face for any spots, bruise, scar, scratch and any kind of mark.
3. Record the marks on the Health Record if any.
4. Make sure parents/guardians who are sending child signs and record the time in the Sign In /Out book.
5. If there is any medication, ensure parents/guardians fill the Medicine Administration form.
6. Take down any messages to be passed on to any staff.

Departure:

1. Take temperature of child (refer to Temperature Taking).
2. Check child’s hands, feet, legs, mouth, face for any spots, bruise, scar, scratch and any kind of mark.
3. Record the marks on the Health Record if any.
4. Make sure parents/guardians who are fetching child signs and record the time in the Sign In /Out book.
5. Make sure all personal belongings (incl. school work, medication, water bottles etc.) are brought home.
