Colours
1. Teacher needs to prepare teaching aid such as paints, crayons, object and printed colour name.
Introduce colour using paints or crayons then associate the colour to objects and colour name.
2. Teacher to prepare template for children to Colour using specific colour that teacher wants to teach for the day.
3. Instruct children to draw their favourite transportation then to colour with a specific colour that teacher wants.
Shape Drawing
Teacher needs to prepare teaching aid the to introduce to children shape that is going to be taught to class.
Prompt children to repeat pattern by drawing the shape on a drawing block.
Shape Stamps
Teacher to allow children to explore with shapes using shape stamps.
Shape stamps can be made from different part of a car such as square body / mirror.
Matching “Same”
Teacher to provide pictures in pairs for children to identify similar picture then matching them.
Matching Shadow
Teacher to prepare picture e.g. car and a outline shadow of the car.
Provide other picture such as train, bicycle then prompt children to match the picture to it’s shadow.
